I purchase a calendar every year for my kitchen. I write all appointments and other need to know information on it. This calendar is perfect. The pictures are spectacular and the quality of the paper is excellent. When I went to write some info on it for 2019, I was concerned because the paper has a gloss to it. I have had calendars that were too glossy to write on. Not in this case. Very smooth and easy to use. Also, the squares lines are dark enough to see at a glance. The calendar is stapled at the top, not glued. I have had bad luck with glued ones in the past.The calendar measures 12" x 12" closed and 12" by 24" open. I don't give many 5 star ratings, but this calendar and the pictures deserve it.
